Consolidating

The market is moving sideways, bumping into all-time new highs more often than not as the days roll by.

Sideways movement over time can have the same effect as a couple days of selling. That is, it is a pause that allows time to consolidate the recent gains.  Sometimes after the digesting has gone on for a while there is a strong move upward.

Since that scenario doesn't always happen we will keep our eyes open.
