Holding Up

Tuesday the NASDAQ rose and stayed above its 50 day moving average nicely.  Volume was lighter.

The following ETFs we use in our portfolio also closed above their 50 DMA:  QQQ, IJR, IVV, HDV, and FFTY.

FFTY, the Innovative 50, had a strong up day moving from 37.51 to 38.08 on higher volume.

The lone ETF to be under the 50 DMA in our mix was RDIV.  That high dividend ETF plunged under the 50 on rising volume.  It gapped down at the open and never looked back.  It was the first time for it to be under its 50 day since a brief moment there mid-August.

We are holding on to our 100% invested position.

The Fed will announce their latest view of the economy and the position on interest rates this afternoon.  It's expected that rates will rise a quarter point.
