The past four trading days have followed the trend we pointed out a several days ago: HDV & IVV have performed better than QQQ and FFTY among the ETFs we use in our strategy.
So, are we dumping QQQ or FFTY? No, but we will lighten up there first if/when it's time to start moving to cash.
We have been at 100% since last Spring. That is a fairly long period when we look at the history of the past five years.
2017 has been a boom year as we come down to the last 2 and a half weeks. The strategy pays off the most when it moves the trader to the safety of cash in a downturn. Someday that will happen again.
